The Khmer Youth Project of Jane/Finch aims to increase community protective factors for youth of Cambodian descent residing in the Jane/Finch community and surrounding areas of Downsview. This strengthening will be accomplished by providing youth related activities and increasing community participation within the Cambodian community for the Cambodian youth.

These will be achieved by the following youth activities identified by the youth as priorities:

 Following the training, participating youth will form sub-groups to work on specific health promotion projects, which will build upon our existing youth program. A focus will be to enhance current activities by recruiting more participants and through health promotion initiatives.
