This program focuses on providing services for the Cambodian community members in the City of Toronto.     All members of the city benefits from this program, however, it is mostly aims at assisting vulnerable groups within the Cambodian community.  Moreover, our outreach efforts are mainly aims to provide support to those socially and physically isolated members of the community.    This program is currently being funded annually by   the funder from the City of Toronto, Community Service Partnerships (formerly Community Services Grants Program CSGP).

The activities for this program include:

Collaboration with the Hong Fook Mental Health Association and Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre     to provide support to the Krom Satrei Khmer Samaki (formerly Cambodian Women’s Support Group).

Provide orientation, information and referrals, interpretation and translation, documentation, advocacy, employment and housing referrals, short-term supportive couselling, crisis intervention, and outreach. to members of the Cambodian community in the City of Toronto on the following issues:  immigration and sponsorship, legal, education, employment, health, housing, family violence etc.

Recruitment of volunteers, training and placement of community members to support the Association activities such as fundraising, cultural celebration and events, Cambodian New Year, and Children's Christmas Party, community picnic etc.

Also, provide support to  Khmer Krom community members, the Vietnamese-decent Cambodian from Vietnam, Chinese-decent Cambodian, and Cham-decent Cambodian.

Outreach, publicity and promotion, reach out to the isolated community members and increase community knowledge of issues and supports.

Networking with community organizations and groups to develop a sustainable program that serve the Cambodian community in the City of Toronto.

Participate in the Cambodian Service Advisory Committee which meet every months in partnership with Hong Fook Mental  Health Association, Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre, Khmer Buddhist Temple of Ontario, and community volunteers.
