About CCAO
CCAO MANDATE
  To provide service, preserve and integrate Cambodian community in Ontario.
MISSION STATEMENT
 
  • To bring together Cambodian immigrants and refugees who chose to settle in the province of Ontario
  • To provide essential settlement services to all Cambodian newcomers and immigrants
  • To facilitate the successful integration of Cambodians into Canadian multi-cultural society
  • To preserve Cambodian culture and traditions
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
  The Board of Directors is elected every three years by a General Assembly.  It is composed of five members: President, Vice President, Delegate for Social and Cultural Affairs, Treasurer, General Secretary.
COMMITTEE
  Two Committees are selected by the Board of Directors:

1. Advisory Committee
2. Executive Committee
MEMBERSHIP
  Membership is open to both Cambodians and Non-Cambodians upon application.  Cambodians may apply and be accepted as active members and may vote at the Annual General Meeting.  Non-Cambodians are welcome to be benevolent or sympathizer members without voting privileges.
SERVICES
 

Services offered by the Association are follows:

  • Orientation
  • Provide Information & Referrals
  • Interpretation and translation
  • Documentation
  • Escort
  • Advocacy
  • Employment and housing referrals
  • Short-term supportive counselling
  • Crisis intervention
  • Outreach
  • Youth activities:  Youth Drop-In program, sports, outing, picnic, etc.
  • Special activities:  social and cultural programs
  • Workshops, meetings, information sharing sessions
  • Educational Activities: Heritage Language class and Culture Dance class
